Like a lot of kids I started going hunting with my dad before I could even carry a gun. I did the same with both of my kids when they were young. My daughter Jordan started hunting with me when she was around 5 years old. When my son Brody got old enough we would take him along with us. Some of my best times have been in the outdoors with both of my kids. When my son got older he found an interest in waterfowl hunting. It was introduced to him by a neighbor. I had gone a time or two before but never had an interest in it. He started learning to call by watching Youtube videos and worked with goose and duck calls constantly. There was neve a quiet time in our house. A friend took him to a calling contest and he did pretty good. A few weeks later he found another one and I took him. He ended up winning the Jr. Goose and getting second in Jr. Duck. I guess he was hooked from there. We traveled around a little and he won some more contest and even competed in the adult contests and did pretty well. He was even invited to one of the top call makers shop for a visit. We got to see how they made calls. With me working in a machine shop this gave Brody the idea he wanted to use a call we made. I did some research on materials and designed some calls. We turned them on CNC machines and that was when we started in the spring of 2014. We started messing with turkey calls after that and along the way we have met some great people that we have worked with and taken advice to make our calls sound like what turkeys want to hear. We started out with just simple inexpensive cherry and walnut calls and over time have moved into the exotic woods. But we still have a line of more affordable cherry and walnut for the person who just wants an inexpensive call that works. You can check out our calls on our website and in our Ebay store. We also post available calls on Facebook and our other Social Media pages. Please follow to keep track of what is new.
